About

Philosophy
Fundamentally, I see massage as a way to treat the whole patient—body, mind and spirit. Massage both awakens us to and strengthens the deep connections between our physical and emotional selves. As a bodyworker, I seek not only to improve my clients’ physical well-being, but their overall quality of life. Moreover, I help my clients understand their particular conditions and give them the tools to achieve good health on their own.

My massage practice is focused on caring for the whole wellness of my clients. Using a full body approach, I provide pain relief from injuries and physical stress, incorporating several healing methods to help patients correct body imbalance problems, and develop better habits to prevent future injuries. With over a decade of experience and an intuitive understanding of how to assess each person’s unique physical problems, my goal is to bring tangible results to my clients’, as well as give them useful tools to help facilitate the healing process.

Training
I’ve been a bodyworker since 1997, having completed my massage training at the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle. I undertook further individual training with a Reiki master in order to obtain my Reiki teaching skills, as well as training with a hot stone massage specialist. In Portland OR, I was trained as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor which continues to bring the joy of babies to my practice.
